City of David: Then and Now
There’s a good chance that many of our current blog readers were not with us back in 2005. So while I’m traveling today, I thought I’d re-post a link to a photo comparison of the City of David. It’s worth a look.
I also have just created a PowerPoint presentation with these two photos to make it easier to flip back and forth.

I am struck by how denuded the landscape was in the old photo. It is nice to see all the trees being planted.

The Palestian settlements have taken over the landscape. Nice to know the Palestinians weren't there 100 years ago either.

Thanks so much for this, Todd. Adding Feinberg's 1960's photo (from almost the same exact location) produces a very interesting perspective on the late development of the buildings now standing on this hill.

HV - thanks for the heads-up. I've added that Feinberg photo to the PowerPoint presentation.
