A clarification and an apology to Todd Bolen: when I organized the ASOR PowerPoint I did not remember in which blog I read the proposed identification of Ephes-Dammim. Now this has been corrected in the expedition website. Yossi Garfinkel (Qeiyafa excavations).

He's referring to the PDF of his PowerPoint presentation, where p. 27 now states: "Efes Damim? (Todd Bolen)". It's the same filename as before, but with this significant correction.

I am very happy that he did so (without any prompting from me, by the way ... I was completely surprised by his E-mail this evening).

On a related matter, yesterday Gordon Govier published the 2nd of his 2-part radio interview with Prof. Garfinkel.

I'm finding it helpful to delve into Avi Faust's research. Jeff Blakely's BASOR article is also a gem. There is plenty we can say about Iron IIA apart from Kh. Qeiyafa.

Todd, thanks again for all of your terrific insight! Yesterday I received the latest copy of PEQ. They mentioned that this year was a banner year for all the articles they published; however, they're low on articles for next year, & encourage anyone who's thinkin' about submitting one to do so. This might be a nice opportunity for you to submit one covering your arguments for Ephes Damim, & against Gob. This would give your ideas the platform they deserve, & elevate you beyond a mere "internet blogger".
