The point still stands, that we should continue to debate and not leave any question unanswered. If it is a forgery then we should forget it. If there is doubt whether it is a forgery we had better make sure to the best of our abilities.

I guess with such an unprovenanced artifact the question is where does the burden of proof lie. I'd say that when accepting it a genuine adds substantially to the evidence we have one has to be careful, and "might be genuine" is not enough.

There is also the issue of accepting such items leading to greater chance for forgers and looters to profit, and therefore greater danger that in future forged and looted items will be around...

So, I would be cautious of using this tablet to illustrate a course for example - except a session on the problems of interpretation of such items ;)

Of course, Jim West has already noted how silly it is to argue about an artifact that Goren has already "proved" to be inauthentic. What more do you need? Who cares if other experts say otherwise? To question Goren makes you insane!
